We are thrilled to share some extraordinary news: the 11th Annual Ted Vander Meer (TVM) Memorial Golf Classic blew past our highest expectations this year, raising $88,000 for the American Cancer Society!
Combined with our ongoing team fundraising efforts, including our internal Picnics with a Purpose, which brought in $6,000, this incredible year officially pushes our 11-year total to $517,500.
Crossing the half-million-dollar mark is a monumental milestone for the entire CLS family, and we are completely blown away by the results. What began as a heartfelt way to honor the memory of Ted Vander Meer has evolved into an inspiring annual tradition. Year after year, our customers, vendors, team members, families, and friends show up with incredible generosity to join the fight against cancer.
On Monday, August 3, 2026, supporters gathered at The Moors Golf Club for an unforgettable day on the course. From brunch and on-course contests to high-energy live and silent auctions, every moment was filled with community spirit and shared purpose.
While $517,500 is a massive financial achievement, the true impact lies in what that number represents: 11 years of unwavering dedication to funding lifesaving research, patient support, and hope for families facing a cancer diagnosis.
